Robert Rauschenberg & Ligia LewisDescription
The world is celebrating 100 years of Robert Rauschenberg: exhibitions in Hong Kong, Madrid, and New York highlight the groundbreaking achievements of the American artist. His work is also being presented in Krems—offering a rare opportunity to see original pieces that have had a lasting impact on the history of art.
The choreographer Ligia Lewis works across performance, film, and installation-based formats. Her practice explores how race, gender, and history shape our experiences and perceptions. The exhibition features a video recording of her choreography deader than dead, a performative allegory of death.
As part of the Art Info program, visitors can learn more about both artists and their work directly in the galleries through conversations with art mediators. This offers the chance to engage in dialogue, ask questions, share personal impressions, and deepen one’s encounter with the artworks.
Every Sunday and public holiday from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
