The State Gallery of Lower Austria is a dynamic exhibition venue for Austrian artists. Above all, artists will be featured who have not yet received the recognition they deserve in Austrian art history. The State Gallery of Lower Austria serves as a stage for the outstanding artistic treasures of the state of Lower Austria. Spectacular installations by international artists enter into dialogue with the extraordinary architecture of the house.
With its striking exterior, the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich is the landmark at the centre of the Kunstmeile Krems. The roof terrace provides a magnificent view of the Wachau valley.
