Getting there

Visitor Information

Stretching from the Dominican Church to the Minorite Church, the Kunstmeile Krems offers a wide range of both art and cultural experiences. Minoritenplatz Square, Museumsplatz Square and Dominikanerplatz Square form bustling hubs along the Art Mile. Amongst other things, visitors can enjoy the Forum Frohner, the Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche (Sound Space Krems Minorite Church), the Imago Dei Easter Festival and the Donaufestival at Minoritenplatz Square there. Museumsplatz Square is home to the Kunsthalle Krems, the State Gallery of Lower Austria and the Karikaturmuseum Krems. Museum Krems and the Dominican Church can be visited at Dominikanerplatz Square and serve as further exhibition venues for the Kunsthalle Krems.

The State Gallery of Lower Austria houses Kunstmeile Krems’ visitor centre. Kunstmeile Krems’ art and cultural institutions can be explored and enjoyed within walking distance and a nice variety of galleries and eateries can also be visited along the Kunstmeile Krems.
