Claudia Losi’s artistic practice begins with the observation of landscapes—both natural and human-made—and with exploring how people inhabit and relate to the living and non-living world around them. Drawing on her longstanding interest in the natural and human sciences, as well as in how the body moves through and experiences space and time, she investigates—through this lens, and through practices such as walking and choral singing—the profound connections between collective narratives and imagination.

Her work encompasses participatory projects and performances, as well as sculptures, drawings, photographs, videos, and artist’s books.
