Queering Space
Artist Julia Belova presents a multi-part installation in the Dominican Church in Krems: why has she placed a monster in the former monastery church? What does this have to do with her queer identity and feminism? And how can art give a space completely new meanings?
The young people deal with the complex issues of feminism, power, sensuality and physicality. It's not just about the question of which monsters Belova creates - but also about which “inner monsters” the young people themselves know. They reflect on their own monsters and record them on paper.
