Kunstmeile Krems Betriebs GmbH prioritizes the protection of your personal data.
We therefore store, process, and use data that you have provided on our website during the application process in accordance with legal regulations. This is because by submitting your application, you are initiating an artist-in-residence scholarship with us (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), making the processing of your data essential to complete the application process.
2. Storage period
The data will be deleted one year after completion of the application process. Portfolios will be stored indefinitely for documentation purposes.
3. Data categories
We process the following categories of data:
- Basic data (name, date of birth, etc.)
- Communication addresses
- Application documents (portfolio, project description, current list of works, images/videos of artworks, etc.)
4. Categories of recipients
We will pass on your data to processors in connection with the application process, e.g. our IT service providers for the purpose of processing and storing data (e.g. hosting) and the internet service provider that operates the software.
Your data will be processed by the relevant persons who decide on the selection of the submitted projects/scholarship recipients and will therefore be passed on to them – e.g., the human resources department, the relevant specialist department, the jury.
5. Obligation to provide data
You are not contractually or legally obligated to provide us with the data. If you do not provide us with the data, we will not be able to process your application.
6. Profiling and automated decision-making
We do not use profiling or automated decision-making as part of the application process.
7. Rights of the person concerned
Data subjects have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object within the framework of the statutory provisions.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you are free to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
