PROTECT YOURSELF FROM CORONA

The Kunsthalle Krems, the Karikaturmuseum Krems, the State Gallery of Lower Austria and the Forum Frohner reopen on July 1st. To ensure a safe visit to the museums, please take note of our protective measures against the corona virus:

 

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

Keep a distance of at least 1 meter, and preferably 1.5 meters, to all persons who are not members of your own household. Please avoid group-like gatherings. Thank you for your patience as waiting times may occur at the entrance of certain rooms or areas.

If you use our smaller elevators, please do so only alone or with persons who live in your household.

 

WASH YOUR HANDS

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and use our disinfectant dispenser. The use of private disinfectants is prohibited in the exhibition rooms for reasons of conservation.

 

COUGH ETIQUETTE

Cough and sneeze into a handkerchief or the rook of your arm.

WEAR MASK

Keep your mouth and nose covered during guided tours, events and workshops.

We recommend to wear mouth-nose protection during your entire visit for the safety of all people.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT

We recommend contactless payment at our cash desks (cash card, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express).

 

ONLINE TICKET – SUMMER OCCASION

We recommend that you purchase your ticket online before your visit in order to avoid personal contacts. In July and August 2020 you will receive a 20% discount on admission with the Promotioncode "SOMMERFRISCHE" when you buy an online ticket. The online ticket will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. Online tickets can be printed out as print@home tickets or displayed digitally on your smartphone. You can enter the museum directly with your online ticket.

AKTIVE STATIONS, LISTENING STATIONS & STOOLS

Please disinfect your hands before using books, headphones, materials and active stations. Please disinfect the museum’s stools before using by yourself. Please use our disinfectant dispenser.

 

GUIDED TOURS

Guided tours are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 15 people.

The first come first served principle applies to our regular guided tours. Registration is required for special formats, events and workshops.

Please come 15 minutes before the tour starts. There may be short waiting times at the cash register and in the cloakroom (lockers).

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE VIEWING

Take advantage of the possibility of a private guided tour. Please arrange your exclusive tour appointment in advance.

 

CLEANING

Wash-rooms and toilets will be cleaned more frequently and all door handles and frequently touched areas throughout the building will be cleaned several times a day.

 

IN CASE OF ILLNESS

If you have a fever or cough, or you are short of breath and have difficulty breathing, please stay at home.

CONTACT TRACING OF COVID-19

Please provide your data such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail on a voluntary basis

when you visit the museum. This data will be kept for 28 days in order to speed up the collection of the health authority in the event of a suspected case of COVID-19.

We have set up registration options in our foyers or at the cash desk.
